PCV #6 has been reinstalled correctly, most vacuum hoses replaced, throttle body cleaned. Car seems to be driving fine - have not accelerated hard or exceeded 50 mph to date. CEL illuminates after ~ 20-30 minutes on the road, accompanied by smell of something burning. OBD II code is P1105. Last time I accelerated hard, the engine lost power immediately and surged the rest of the way home. Do these two issues have a common source? Is this related to the turbo?

Thanks all for any help.

some good advice in there with related issues. It also seems your two issues are related imho and throwing your car into limp home mode. fix the culprit and you shouldnt have any problems accelerating.

one thing to add is make sure all your intercooler hoses are clamped tight and also your delivery pipe to the throtle body is tightened, but make sure you dont have a missing o-ring on the throtle body as it helps seal and prevent the delivery pipe from blowing off
