My car recently threw a code for a very small evap leak. I replaced the filler cap, but that did not fix the issue. Is there any other common places to check for leaks? What is the best way to diagnose evap problems at home?

I had the equivalent code on a VW Polo. Tried a new fuel cap, then replaced the evap. control valve, which solved it. Beyond that, it would need checking the integrity of all the tubes, which is done on the principle of pressurising the system with smoke and watching for the leak.

If you have ever changed the fuel pump, check to see if you are getting any gas aroma under the back seat with the inspection plate removed.
