Light was triggered today after driving around for the day. I replaced the fuel pump assembly and the sensor near the front. The pump is a spectra pump and the sensor is an OEM Bosch.

I reaaaally don't wanna drop this tank again but even if I have to, what on earth would I be replacing at this point?

I've read some folks saying they had a loose cap but I've also read it has nothing to do with. Tightened it anyway and cleared the code, waiting for the emissions monitors to be ready.

Which car, which motor? I'm going to guess it's a V6. There's also a power amp for the fuel pump under one of the seats, where depends on which style of car. It's driven by PWM from ECU. Might be worth checking if new fuel pump or sensor aren't failing.
