Hello,

my 2001 95 recently started hesitating, especially when cold and the engine light came on. I read the code using an OBDII reader and got oxygen sensor 1. Replaced the sensor with a Bosch and reset the light. A couple of days later, the problem came back.

Has anybody run into this before? Are there other known problems that might trick the computer and set the O2 sensor off, or possibly something that could be destroying the O2 sensor? Is it possible that the Bosch sensors are not good for this car? Any other thoughts?

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply.

The code I got was P0134. I've reset the sensor twice since the front O2 was replaced, but the light continues to turn on and the car is still hesitating. So, there is still something wrong ... I'm just not sure if its really the O2 sensor or something else setting it off.

Appreciate your help.

Its a Bosch sensor purchased from thesaabsite.com. I assume its a non OEM replacement part for this model. Is this the part that people have had problems with? I would get a Saab part if I knew that it would solve the problem. But the parts aren't cheap of course, so I don't want to through good money after bad if there is another problem. Thanks for your help.

The problem still persists. The car hesitates and the engine lite turns on when the car is started cold. Still reading P0134. When the car warms up, it runs fine and if restarted when warm, the engine light turns off.

I'm just not sure that the O2 sensor is the root problem, so I haven't tried replacing again.
