Any way to adjust or re-set the outside temp reading on the SID? I swear it reads 10 degrees hotter than reality!

The temp sensor is located in the lower front of the car. In the summer with the heat radiating off the pavement, the reading may be a bit high. It's more accurate when the temp is cooler outside.

The sensor attaches to the lower center of the front bumper cover. Check it out. It's in a location prone to damage.

The ambient temp. reading is used by both climate control and engine management. Replace the sensor if it is damaged. Not an expensive part.

If the reading is consistently 10 degrees off, it is probably bad. Once the car is moving there should be no problems from hot pavement, hot garage, etc.
