Maybe its because I watched fast and the furious to many times, or I use to have a 550hp 300zx twin turbo...... I just miss all the loud turbo sounds.

Anyways I ended up putting a different intake on my 07 9-3 2.0T and it sounds better, but still not exactly what I was looking for. Now I have seen guys on this forum put blow off valves on these cars, but have had some effect open performance and the car running rich.... Etc.

Some where (I don't remember where) I had seen a valve forsale that bolted right on the turbo, right where people would install the block off plates. As far as I know, this valve would still let the turbo recirlculate air, but also vent extra to the atmosphere.

Does any of this make sense, or am I just seeing things?

Its the forge bypass valve. As long as you have the big T and from the looks of it, You do. You can get that instead of the blow off valve
