I have a nice leak coming from passenger front of car. Haven't been able to isolate the leak apart from confirming it is not the power steering pump (replaced last year and not leaking). Read that the oil pump seal could be culprit. Is this a DIY job or a $$$$ job at shop?

Hi I'm doing mine tomorrow - had too major oil leaks when i bought the car - one from the distributor - had to buy a new one and one from the oil pump crank seal. I bought the seal comes with an O ring which seals the oil pump cover.
doesn't look too difficult a job.... will let you know later....
Oh the root cause of the leaks was a blocked breather hose, it was blocked solid with crud, going to flush the engine oil at the same time.

Sorry mate - didn't get around to do it - ended up doing a couple of V6 jobs, going away for a couple of weeks - so it will be a while until I get a chance to do it. will let you know and will take some pics
