Hello, I have a problem.

I have a 9 5 ´98 with a rebuilt (by myself) B204/205, the block, pistons, crankshaft are B204 and rest is B205. All new bearings, new gaskets, new oil pump. Runs great but oil pressure drops when it warms up fully. After driving for 25-30 minutes the oil pressure light comes on when idling. I put a mechanical gauge on the pressure side and found out that the pressure is 1,3 bar at 2000 rpm when it should be 2,5 bar.
When cold (5°c), pressure is over 4 bar when idling.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Jón Gunnar Kristinsson

What oil are you running?
Unless he's running a 20 weight, the oil is not his problem and switching the weight would be a very bad solution.

Anway, so you rebuilt the engine with rings, main and rod bearings, correct? Did you get new bearings for the balance shafts? The problem could also be the oil pump letting go.

Didn't suggest it as a solution. Just asked because he's from a cold climate so would need a 0W oil. It was the top number 30/40/50 i was wondering about.
