Usual cause is the oil pressure switch. It leaks through the centre, so tightening it doesn’t help.

Hmmm, I see. That would be a cheap fix, although a pain to do. It is quite a big leak i believe. About 1 litre since the last oil change. The front of the engine is dry. It is just the rear leaking. Should i just change the oil pressure switch and see if it goes away?

I would de-grease the whole area, then pressure-wash it, start it and look for the leak. If it’s that big it should be visible. I must say I haven’t had this problem yet and I don’t know how easy the switch is to see.
