I'm tried of cleaning out the trottle body from the oil that comes from the gear box, i went to the local auto store looking for a catch can and the guy told me to just cap of the vacuum line, i tried this and the car runs fine, anyone else ever try this?

Oil is gonna get into the TB whatever you do, i'd be wary of capping of any vacuum line, if it doesn't have a purpose why put it there? :confused:

How does the gearbox oil get into the throttle body :confused:

I think I agree :p Unless its the turbo seals starting to fail :confused:

well i think its the pvc, it's the line from the silver box to the throttle body, with the valve in the middle, i just rigged a filter in the line to try and catch the oil.

One way to tell if it's the turbo is to pull the air inlet pipe and see if you have oil sitting on the o-ring. When my turbo started spewing oil, it pooled there as well.
