Read some good things about Wix and how it's good for cars with turbo's/synthetic because of the fact it has a 'bypass pressure' or something?

$4 doesn't bother me, especially when I hear it's good for the engine

NAPA Gold 1516 (same as WIX) is what i use. Readily available and no complaints from me...

I've used the 1516 for years, too, and the Wix-branded version is cheaper than the smaller one that's specced for Saabs from RockAuto, especially if you buy them by the case. It was a nice coincidence that the 1516 is the factory-sized filter for a 2000 Ford Focus, which is what my wife drove for a while. Three cars (two Saabs and the Focus) and they all used the same filter!
