I replaced the O-rings in the oil cooler, but still remarkable oil drops are under the car. Probably, I made some mistake: mixed up the connection end of the oil lines? I found this WIS draw, but not clear for me: which line must be under / above at the connection end of the oil cooler?





Which plate must be under or above at the connection point #4 on the WIS drawing?

Bottom hose on oil cooler goes to the back inlet (Closest to engine)

Thx for the info.

Experience: aftermarket black O-ring (not heat-tolerant, just up to approx. 100°C or 212°F) doesn't sit well, teflon tape needed to seal it really well, but it works after 100 miles (SAAB OEM O-rings had ordered earlier).

Temporarily fix:
