Just repaired my SID screen so I could finally use it (no more guessing radio stations :). So I cleared the SID, started heading to work, and it read that I was getting 530 Miles Per Gallon by the end of the 45 minute trip. So I reset it, headed on my way home, and after jumping anywhere from 560 to 220, it finally rested of 320 MPG. I havent a clue why its reading high, a couple of months ago when the SID was working properly, it was in th 20's range like it should be. I have no idea where it gets the reading from in the first place, I would imagine the ECU or something like that. The car is running great, nothing seems to be wrong, no MIL or anything. Kinda stumped.... Oh, and the car is getting terrible fuel mileage, Im gonna blame it on the Winter Blend Fuel right now, but its looking like between 17-20 MPG, driving like a elderly lady.

Oh and this is a 1996 900 S 2.3I Non-Turbo M/T

it is deffinitly not DTE as that seems to be reading properly. I can clearly see MPG. I reset it, it goes to about 640, then works it's way down to about 320. Right now I am looking and it says 304 MPG and 245 miles for DTE. The MPG seems quite sporatic, but DTE sounds right with 3/4 tank of gas.

I think this is a simple problem.

The point in 30.4 isn't showing up because you SID isn't perfect. On occasion mine goes out and I thoroughly enjoy pretending I get hundreds of miles per gallon.
