Hello,

I just bought a1994 9000turbo and have a little problem. I can't seem to find the part # for the hose that goes from the radiator to the transmission. I cahnged the radiator and accidentally nicked the hose open. I looked on a few web site's and couldn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Looking at the parts list again - I posted the radiator picture instead of the auto transmission oil cooler. The part you need is 43 57 604 "hydraulic hose". This will be expensive at a Saab dealers, but it is quite likely that a local hydraulic hose supplier could make one up much cheaper. The hose has standard 'banjo' end fittings so they should be able to match it. I suggest that you take the hose out & ask them to make a copy. In the UK we have a number of construction industry suppliers who specialise in hydraulics - such as those used on the popular JCB range of excavators etc. Do you have "Yellow Pages" trade directories in your neck of the woods? Failing that a Google on hydraulic hose suppliers should turn up something.
(send me a private message with your email address & I'll send you the parts list & diagram - it's too big to post on the forum)
