My ‘07 9-5 was throwing P1251 and P1261 along with other issues, so I replaced the throttle body with a new Hella unit.

I disconnected the battery while doing the work, and it started up no problem with the new TB. About 30 mins into driving on the new one, code P1260 appeared.

Has anyone seen this on a new TB? Did I buy a dud?

Did you reset the limp home spring?

Also check the connector, I had the problem that one contact had a bad connection due to corrosion. If the pin of the wiring harness is also affected this might cause the problem even with the new TB.

Thank you, I totally forgot that step. Reset limp home and have done 100+ miles without issue.

Side note, I should’ve replaced the TB way before the CEL came on. Smoother idle and way stronger performance. I was thinking I needed new motor mounts for a while, but not anymore!
