Just bought a 2000 Saab SE 9-3 Convertible, my dream car when I was twenty. Car is in excellent shape overall with only a few minor things that needs to be fixed. I have noticed ever since I drove the car that when exiting the car you can smell a somewhat strong gas vapor. The smell is not noticeable when driving even with the AC on. I have not observed any leakage at all. Any insight or suggestions would be helpful.

Did you check the fuel lines underneath to see if there is any dampness, i.e. leak? If you raise the hood do you smell gasoline, i.e. leaking fuel rail etc.
