Hello everybody, Currently undergoing a head gasket replacement that turned into me incorrectly timing the engine, which bent all of the intake valves, which then turned into me swapping the bent valves out. So now I am back to the stage I fear most and that is timing the engine. Prior to putting the head back on, I set the crank pulley mark in line with the mark on the timing cover, Set the head on top with the high pressure alignment tools on the exhaust and intake camshafts, but when doing the said two revolutions the valves didnt flow with the timing of the pistons. I then Put the first cylinder at TDC and everything seemed timed correctly with the valves, cams, and the flow of the pistons, but when at tdc the timing marks on the pulley and the cover dont line up. Any suggestions on this? Am I doing something wrong? Any Help is appreciated.

Was going off the WIS btw.
