Hello all,

I am looking forward to all the great information I can get from here.
I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 which I absolutely love. It is my first Saab and I am already looking at getting another (possibly a 2011 9-5).
I live in Indianapolis and have had my Saab for just over 2 years.

Just a few weeks ago, I have noticed that the previous owner has painted the chrome grills to the silver color, to match the rest of the car. It looks like he painted right over the chrome and now the paint is coming off and I can see the chrome under.
Any suggestion on the best way to remove the paint without damaging the chrome underneath?
I really don't want to spend $300 for new grills.
I apologize if a similar post already exists somewhere else and I thank you all for your help.
