Sun, age, & five kids have all but destroyed my beige leather interior. Yesterday I removed half of it and started cleaning, repairing, gluing, filling and dyeing it. Front passenger seat, rear bottom bench seat and front passenger door panel are now done. I tinted the beige dye I got from Leatherworld Technologies, Inc. Not a very close match, but a much nicer color to my eyes. It is more tan, like the color I had in my '92 900 vert. They have a clear coat now which provides additional protection (the dye should last longer). The dyeing I did on the '89 has begun to wear through a little (lighter grey over much darker, so it shows through faster).
I hope to borrow a digital camera today and finally get some pics of the stuff I have been doing for five years. I will be able to post before and after pics on the interior shots. I have nowhere to post them, but if someone has some ideas,(thumbnail software ideas or such) I will try. I really want to add some pics to the engine bay thread too.

Looking forward to seeing that. My driver seat cushion looks like it will have some problems soon (sand beige interior). The thumbnails work ok, until you run out of allowed space. I have been posting pics and links from my geocities account... so far I did not get any notes about violating the board rules, like I often did SN.

Looking forward to these, I had my front seats re-died by a leather specialist about a year ago. They definatley looked better, but wasn't quite the dramatic change I was hoping for. I am starting to think of where I could find some replacement leather that I could use to re-upholster the front seats with.

P.s. Car domain is a good site to host pictures. Let me know if you need more help with that.
