hey all, im brent. i have a 96 900s non turbo that i so desperately want to breathe new life into. i want to get as much power out of it as possible and so far i've read that its almost impossible to put a turbo into a non turbo. any suggestions on an engine swap, or maybe i should look for a new car to work on. i dont know much about the workload, but im eager to learn and want to do it myself. like i said i dont know much other than im crazy for saabs!

thanks

It's difficult to make the non-turbo car perform better. Putting a turbo in will cost as much or more than just selling the car you have an buying a turbo, so that's our usual advice -sell, purchase a turbo.

Thanks man, that's kinda what I thought I was going to have to do anyway, looks like I'm looking for a 93 900 turbo now!
Thanks again!

if you want power, it seems like a t5 motor is the best way to go. wish i would have known that earlier. oh well.
