Hi my name is rene , ia m working on this 07 saab 93 2.0 turbo.
the ecu is damaged beyond repair. so i cant clone or duplicate a ECM

the ecu repair company did send me a used ECM it has the wrong vin.
so i have been trying to flash a new file in there. so far no fortune there.

I don't know if I should open my mouth, as it was a long time ago, but I got a matching ECU from the wrecking yard for next to nothing and programmed it to my car using an old laptop. I found the guide online, I think it was a Youtube video. Been running the Saab with the junk yard ECU for about 7 or 8 years now. I'll do some digging, but no guarantees. I just know the info is out there and it works.
