Car is a SAAB 9-3 convertible 1.8t - I got towed on Sunday due to the car not starting and they replaced the battery and it started ... job done... so I thought. This morning I went to unlock the car and it wouldn't unlock - so I got into the car and tried to start it but it wouldn't start. Any ideas on what this could be?

Define wouldn't start. Do you mean the starter motor cranks and the engine won't fire or it doesn't even crank?

If it doesn't crank and the new battery is already dead there must be significant parasitic draw when the car is turned off or the alternator is faulty. Either situation should be easy to diagnose but you need a multimeter. Return to the garage that replaced the battery - they should have run a few tests when it was towed there the first time.
