I have a 2007 ss with the 7 speaker base model stereo setup. I am in the process of upgrading my system with a 4 channel amp. I currently ordered 6x9 speakers for the rear. I have read Saba's post and have a few questions.

I have two SCOSCHE line out converters. Based on Saba's post, it appears he attached his line out converters pre-amp (coming out of the head unit). Can I connect the line out converters to my leads going into the rear 4" speakers? Or do I need to tap into the RR and RL wires coming into the rear amp?

I think I figured it out.. so the rear speakers are powered by the head unit in a 2007 unit and not from the rear amp hidden in the trunk..

So the rear speakers have the higher level powered by the head unit. The doors being the lower frequencies..
