I am still sketching away on my sketchbook program ever since I read that blog about a possible "spiritual successor" to the 900. At this point in time I have come up with this. Please give me your opinions and there will be more drawings to follow. :cheesy:

I thought this would be the most logical place to post this thread as it's somewhat of a "technical nature" and besides news about the c900 goes down like a lead balloon in the lounge.

Sketch looks cool, but it might be getting too close to the Porsche look. I like how Saabs, well the old Saabs I should say, have their own look like no other.

It sorta looks like a Porsche 924.

It sort of does but really doesn't. I like that its still a big wedge and the bottom lines are from the classic 99 and 900's.

You guys call any fast back a porsche look a like, but its not like they were the first or the only ones.

Window should be steeper!

i have some designs as well. traced off a 900 spg and then reworked to be more modern. the one im currently working on is the aero convertible. z top to make the operation simpler, dashboard and seats VERY reminiscent of a 900 in shape (but the seats will be 900 style with the different panels and have a more 9-5 sport seat structure). i cant post any pics of it yet because my camera isnt exposing properly so as soon as a get some good ones ill post them. you all might argue that it looks like a 9-5 or 9-3 but truse me there are 900 elements in my design. and it doesnt look like a porsche

slightly different thing though, what is the drawing program you are using and what weapons do you have to compliment it? i have dabled in the past but not found anything that floated my boat!

I'm using Alias sketchbook pro and it's the best one around.

one this is a big contibutor to the sucess of the c900 was the functional hatch, it needs to buble a bit more!

The second sketch on the first post is the best in my opinion. I think it's got something to do with the steep windsheild and the concave sections where the head and tail lights are.

cinemarr, yours may not look like a porsche but it does remind me of a shark :cheesy: ill try to get a pic of my sketch as soon as i find good lighting.
