Hi all.

06 Diesel 9-3 Tid.

Had an issue with the power steering, was fixed, now I've got the dreaded Traction & Stability system issues. Yesterday, same alerts came up, lost all power. Started and ran normally to the Mechanic.

Spoke to the Mechanic , CIM replaced, new key, i imagine new key module, tuned the motor to clear the particulate filter, replaced the battery lead as they looked knackered, did full OBD read and reset.

On way home, traction and stability system alert came up, lost all power. Wouldn't restart. Yet the radio, Windows etc worked fine! Just wouldn't start!

Had to be towed to the Saab specialist.

I've heard so many reasons for this from battery, loose wires, alternator, TCM, ECU, Wheel sensors, wires at rear of car.

Really annoyed as this is a great car, and I've had the same thing for a week!

Any ideas?

Scanned with tech 2, same issue again!

Mind you I had the CIM and ISM, ECU Replaced last service.

There's 21 faults coming up. Does this sound like a BUS failure?

Let's talk about the battery though.... You glazed right over that.
