Hey everyone,

I've heard some advice as to what I should do but I thought I'd post here to see what others think.

I now want to get my '06 9-5 sportcombi to 300hp and 300+ torque.

What hardware do I need? Will 300hp be too much for my internals...pistons, etc?

Just so you know, I do plan on changing up my suspension... although with Eibachs springs no longer avaliable I'm not sure what my suspension set-up will look like. As for brakes, I'm only going to change them once they need replacement.

300hp too much for internals......no probably not. 320hp too much.....YES. just keep in mind 300 is pretty much the tippy top of what you can do stock.

torque is going to depend on clutch condition, although with aero clutches 420nm is completely reasonable, if not even more.

when you tune, thats when things that werent in the best shape start to show their true colors, so keep that in mind.

good luck, i cant wait to tune my car either- although i think i will be well satisfied with about 270whp, so approximately 290-295 bhp. 420nm of torque will be my goal as well.

The more hp and torque you want to get from it, the lower the reliability. 260 hp and want more, for what? The 2006+ doesn´t need more hp (and the 9-5 chassis cannot cope well with more than 220 hp), it needs a better interior. But that´s just my very honest opinion, not intending to hurt anybody. ;)

Well stock the 06' model in the US has 260hp and 258tq. And I think it handles really good with that amount. When I get my car completely done tuttiface I will let you know how it goes. I don't want some crazy amount of hp&tq that I can't put down to the road. Good luck.

Lol and here I am looking at map tun upgrades to 300hp on my linear, now you guys say it's too much for the car lol. (however the map tun suggests new camshafts. Or I might just do exhaust and ecu to get a decent 280hp, (put it this way I'm after more hp than the current aero. Lol)
