I just moved to Huntington Beach. I'm ready for my first service I have to pay for. I called Santa Ana Saab last week and they told me it would be $300 for intermediate. I confirmed it was just an oil change, tire rotation and some inspections. Then, I told them they were crazy. What are people paying out here for service. Is there a better dealer?

When I bought my Saab I had it inspected at the Swedish Mechanic in Irvine http://www.swedishmechanic.com/

Dunno about having work done there though.
My car is at Swedish Mechanic right now for new head gasket, vacuum pump, and serpentine belt. Stephan owns the business, is quite knowledgeable, fair in his pricing and accommodating. I can recommend them without hesitation.

I live in Long Beach near Seal Beach Boulevard.

I have been going to Scher tire for years off of Lakewood and Willow for routine maintenance. I buy my oil filter and they get the Mobil 1. They charge about $75. If you ever need help figuring out replacing the air or pollen filters, I can help you out with that.

For major service (I had my 60K Service about 4 months ago) I went to Anders at http://www.swedecar.com/ He is awesome.
