Recently bought a 06 9-3 2.0t wagon for 300$ and it’s a auto I can feel the transmission shift hard when it warms up could it be the shift sensor ? But i would also like to manual swap it and do a facelift with a 09 9-3 would that be hard to do ?

Back to the transmission when I give it about 75% throttle I it just revs High then it kick you hard with the gear change, from park to drive it shanked gear hard also, and the same with the reverse to drive. It’s a really nice car I don’t know why the guy sold it for that cheap but he did and I’m seeing I have a lot of wiggle room to do repairs

Give it a fluid flush as per the service manual with Toyota T-IV fluid .. if that doesn't do it, then shift solenoids are bad.
I assume u scanned the car with no faults to guide u .
Facelift upgrade is easy, manual swap good luck

The car has 127k, where can I get the transmission fluid from any Toyota dealer ? And what’s needed for a facelift besides the fenders, bumper and grill

5 or 6sp trans...Auto to manual trans swap good luck with that..Facelift is all what you can see on the front end..
