Oh God... I hope I don't come off sounding like a ricer.

I went to midas and had my resonator deleted. It baffles a little more but it wasn't like I was expecting. I'm fairly sure that I want to get a new muffler.;oops:

Has anyone else deleted the res and put a muffler on? If so which muffler fits and sounds fairly decent, I don't want it to scream "RICEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" but you know, that deep tone with some volume under acceleration is nice, if possible.

I was thinking about getting a magnaflow or something similiar. Any ideas?

I did the same thing.

Ditched the center resonator, and put this in:

Here is what it sounds like:

A few people said the muffler was rice, but that's an entirely subjective opinion.

Here is what it looked like:

Not rice.

Is that even considered a muffler? will that thing even pass inspection? It sounds good and all but I don't want to fail inspection haha. Being able to see straight through it scares me, i know you need at least one muffler to pass inspection, and without the resonator...

I'm in Minnesota.

There are no inspections.

It was loud, but not stupid.

Oh, just an FYI for you, if you hold the factory muffler at just the right angle, you can see through it too.

So will just about any muffler work? I like the tips on some of the magnaflows. Anyone have any problems with BAD mufflers?
