Hello saab owners,

I am the owner of a chevy cruze 1.8 liter seeking your help. The 1.8 ecotec and the 1.6 ecotec used in the holden and daewoo model cruzes are almost 1 jn the same o the point that i can use parts from the 1.6 turbo to turbo my 1.8. Now the 2010 Saab 9-5 came with a 1.6 turbo from the same family but i am trying to find out the exact model of motir they used to see if i could use the parts rather than shipping what i need from oversees. The 3 models are the A16LER, A16LEN, and the A16LET. any info would help.

The 2010 and 2011 9-5's come with either a 2.8L and 2.0L motor. Buick continues to use the 2.0L motor in the new Regal.

Not sure about the 2009 9-5's and older cars. Maybe ask in that forum?
