Well, thanks to the observant rdj92807 here, another decontening was found.

For those cars with Driver Side lumbar, the passenger side lumbar disappeared. After a little research, my current theory is that it was one of those "real early 2003" things, like the dead pedal & nice carpeting. :cheesy: So I don't think it's on 2004s & definately not on 2005s.

So I ask you, the worldwide 9-3SS community, can you tell me if you have a passenger side lumbar (if driver has one)?

Thanks!

EDIT: (D'oh!)
2003 US Arc, 4/03 Build Date
Driver Side : Yes
Passenger Side: Yes

Dear Viscourse:

A note on your add/delete list. Is the USA, I see rear A/C vents in the console of Aeros, for sure. Maybe they were deleted for Linears only?

Hi;

05 Vector, no passenger lumbar, drivers is there. Build date 10/04. Bought in Mexico.

Got a loaner 04 Linear while my car arrived, had lumbar on both seats, I felt cheated :cry: . Later found out that my linear had no pressure sensors either, maybe a favor I hear they fail a lot.

Best Regards;

2004 Aero
It has lumbar on both sides.

Built in early 2004 (March, IIRC)
In other news, my passenger front door used to unlock itself a lot. They finally replaced the latch and it's all good now. No major bumps otherwise.

Thanks to all for your input!!!
So I am beginning to see a pattern: there is none. :roll:

US/Mexico: Yes across all models except for some Linears for 03 & 04.
Australia: yes for Aero in 04.
Europe: No for all years/models.

Would you believe that a replacement lumbar is a whopping $78 for a simple plastic paddle & couple of steel cables? That's amazing.
