For a vehicle that seems to run great I am receiving an exorbitant amount of messages from the warning lights & SID.

I have a CEL that comes and goes P1312; but it seems to run well.
The other day I had a transmission light come on, but it has not returned.
Also, I get a coolant level low message sporadically; the level is about an inch from KALT.

Does it sound like a bad computer/connection? Is there a possibility that the car is sending these signals without a valid cause?

Btw

BTW,
I had the car scanned after the transmission light showed up & I received no code. Only the p1312.

No, it sounds like three separate problems.

The 1312 could be a loose connector but is more likley the DIC failing. Replace the plugs with a fresh set properly gapped and see if it comes back.

The coolant sensor can get sticky and give false readings or the sensor can go bad. But, fill it to the COLD line and see how it reads.

The transmission had a fault or also has a flaky connection... but if it doesn't come back, I would not worry about it until it does.
