I had two issues:
- when i tried to use a discount code for the pcv kit and it didnt work, because i had other items in basket. Those were items not included in the kit. Regardless, i couldnt use the coupon.
- one of the items was labeled: ships in 5 to 7 business days. Im okay with that. So, its been a month an still havent received. I emailed the support and they couldnt do anything cuz the item is on long term backorder. The thing is, if you know its gonna take that long you should indicate it properly. I couldve ordered it from somewhere else. Now, i have to wait for god knows how long.

A bit dissapointing since im a frequent shopper on that site.

Hi Aslan,

My apologies that your thread slipped under the radar. If you ever have trouble with a coupon code again, please call our customer service team @ 800-467-9769 and we will gladly apply it to your order. Additional parts in your cart should not effect the coupon code, but it's entirely possible there was a technical issue with that particular code.

Secondly, we always try to be as accurate as possible with our ship dates and 95% of the time they are correct. However, given the uncertainty surrounding Genuine Saab parts, we occasionally cannot get a part because Saab's factories in Sweden aren't producing them as promised. We're trying to adjust our lead times, but sometimes Saab just doesn't have the part. I'm sorry you were unable to get your part in time. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to.

My last 3 orders have been from the 5-7 day sector - 2 were eventually cancelled and refunded, the third is still hanging on, just, a couple of months later! I get occasional updates, but it is incredibly frustrating to order something I need, only to find a month down the line it's unavailable :(

I had trouble with a different coupon - but a quick contact with customer services and they asked me to make the order, then they applied the discount manually.

Glad to hear that we were able to able to fix the issue with the coupon code. We'll look into the technical aspect of our coupon code system; there may be a glitch if multiple people are having the same problem.

Again, we're sorry that there has been so much uncertainty with genuine Saab. Sometimes we are promised certain parts and find out after the fact that the parts aren't being produced, hence the refunded orders. If you let me know your order number I can check the status of your current out of stock item.
