I have a 99 Saab93 which misfires on hot humid days, as soon as the humidity drops it runs normal it has been a hot summer so far and it is happening often enough to be a problem - could it be an electrical/ignition problem? any suggestions on what to look for are much appreciated

Check plugs first. Make sure they are the mfg. spec plugs. Clean 'em up and re-gap them to just a hair under 1 mm. Put it all back together and try it out.
