So I got some Metal Valve caps for my T-X link here

Basically like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SAAB...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Anywhose I put them on when i got the car and I check it every few weeks or so

Well back in Feb we had tons of snow/salt and the metal caps corroded onto the thread of the valve stem

I go to check the air before a long road trip and the caps don't come off.

So i get a pair of plyers and bam it snapps off and I have a flat tire (so I don't even touch the rest)

with no spare tire I have to go to the dealer and luckily they covered the "one" under warranty but what should I do about the rest?

this 5 dollar Ebay crap isn't even licensed, it's bootleg. A bought a couple of the Saab Valet Keychains off Ebay.... shear garbage. Would have cost more to ship them back in time and postage.

These have served me well:

They simply make your valve stem and cap look silver and fade into the rest of the wheel. When putting them on, they feel like there must be rubber on the inside (to cover the threads) which would take care of your corrosion issue. They have a long neck that would also help.
I have these as well. Hard to clean the baked on brake dust but I like them.

Great well Ill buy the GS ones or go to my dealer for some will have to pb blast the curent ones off, I do check my tire pressure easily more then once a month but the past snow storm with the salt cause early corrosion i suppose
