There is debate as to the feasibility of a regular car owner doing this procedure.
Some special tools and knowledge are required, the bore must be measured and carefully examined.
Best,IMO, to have the professional resleever/rebuilder do this task for at least $150, but a lot cheaper than buying a new one..
I feel that any car needing a new or rebuilt cylinder has come to the end of its "economical-practical " life..
