I have a 00' Aero with 90.000 miles. I have bee noticing a low moan at idle. When I increase the RPM's it seems like the moan changes pitch and either disappears or is drown out by the engine around 1500 RPMs.
Moreover, when I am at idle and I turn the steering wheel the moan becomes louder.
It this a belt tensioner bearing failing? I replaced the belt but not the tensioner about 5K miles ago.

If the moan becomes louder when you turn the wheel that just screams power steering pump in my mind. You're most likely low on fluid and bottoming out, they make awful moans when this happens. You're only supposed to use some special saab power steering fluid. There was a thread about it a few days ago.
