Bought the car (99 9-3 SE 5spd HOT) without having it inspected by a dealer. Clutch exploded two weeks later when I tried to shift into second and I heard the sound of gears grinding. Dealer replaced master and slave cylinders, refinished the flywheel, put in a new clutch assembly. Dealer informed me it appeared as though "clutch work" had been previously done on my car. A grand and change later I had a gearbox that was tighter than a junior high date.

Two months later everything's loose again. Tonight I couldn't shift into 1, 2, 5 or R while driving/parked. Before something explodes, either human or mechanical, does anyone know what the perpetrator is in this plaguing issue is?
