[Per's '95 NG 900 5spd]

It seems like its coming from rear hatch, not engine or exhaust.



I put about 3 layers of sticky foam tape on the body-rubber points, and cranked the rubber "feet" on the hatch down about 3/16", but still vibrates when in in gear if stopped. Idle in neutral is fine, driving is fine, but moment comes to stop or in bumper to bumper it makes load vibration.


Any known fix, or should I start experimenting?


Spare checked and all snugged down.

You sure it's the hatch? I had more issues with the seat back than the hatch. Maybe lower and shut the rear seats or check that the bolts that holds the latches are tight.
