I lost one of my key fobs (a.k.a the remote control), for 2004 Saab 93. The dealer(s) wants $200+to replace it.

Anyone know of an alternative?

Also according to the dealer, if I loose the other one, the only way to get into the car afterwards, is to replace the $1200 security module, since I need a key to program another key.

Buy one off ebay and reprogram it? Wonder what that would cost.....

You can buy them on eBay, but how are you going to get the key cut if it's a used key for a different car?
