I have a 2004 ARC covertible, but, Try looking under the kick panel beside the hood release. I got speakers from there. I got the RTO signal on fuse 17 in the trunk fuse box.

lemme say i had a hell of a time trying to get that seat out. I gave up and tapped my signal off the 6.5s in the door. Much easier for me....

Leave the seat where it is.

You can attack the trim in a couple of places to get to the wires.

I found it easiest near the sill side of the drivers seat, I got to the cable trunking by pulling (you need force) the carpet out of the way and then bending the plasting trunking connector back. I had to force and pry the trunking hard, but it came back together fine.

I looked up by the bonnet release but too hard in my view.

The speaker pairs you want are twisted together which makes it easier to identify them. I scraped back the insulation with a blade for 5mm then soldered directly to the wire, then re-wrap with tape.

The doors is another option.

Have fun!

This is a great approach if you have the time and dexterity, not to mention the soldering skills. A lot of people are reluctant to invade the wiring in this manner for some reason.
