I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero w/ the 6spd Auto. Yesterday while driving I hit a pretty big bump and I got a couple of error messages on my dash. I got a stability control failure message, traction control failure message, and a limited performance message. I was right next to my parking spot, so I parked it overnight to see if the warnings were still there in the morning. This morning, I started the car and the warning messages were still there and the car shifted hard into reverse and drive and would not shift out of first gear while driving. I parked the car again, unhooked the battery for 10 mins and reconnected and the messages are gone and the car is driving just fine. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what happened and how I may prevent this in the future?

You have somewhere loosen connector which pops up disconnecting all and returned back.
When you disconnect battery, you reset all and now all is fine.

Avoid potholes.
