Bought myself a 2005 SAAB 9-5 2.3T Arc a few days ago. First SAAB ever. It has ~207,000 miles (334,000 km), purchased new in Netherlands and had two previous owners. It seems well taken care of, though it has some issues that I will address in a dedicated thread.

I am selling one of my 9-5's. It's a 2006 with manual transmission.
I'm only asking $2,800 (firm). I have more money than that in: new tires, brakes, suspension arms & silicone subframe bushings, DI cassette, 750A battery, spark plugs, etc. I've had it for only 3 years; body is not perfect hence the low price, it has the usual small hood chips and door dings, dog legs are starting to bubble, nothing major; It runs great and needs nothing. Hoping to find it a good home :) We mostly just use the 9-5 wagons, this one is not driven much at all and it would bother me to keep it outdoors; I have 9 Saabs and 8 garage spaces, that's the only reason it's for sale.

Very nice! Looks like a pretty clean car. Hopefully it'll go to a good home soon!

That's the most common OEM wagon spoiler, nothing unusual about it. Nice car!

Mine ate another wheel bearing, I worked out the cause as incorrect hub nuts – perhaps they are different for later models and I got those, but whatever the reason they were not right for my car!

I really wanted an OEM Saab spoiler Could not find the Saab flat plate rear roof spoiler that was on the Hirsch show cars either. Maptun did the job. No restrictions

👍 re 9-5 wagons. They have held up well styling-wise.
Without a doubt. Lots of people think they're too weird, but the 9-5 wagon is one of my all time favorite cars.

My 2001 9-5 2.3t (silver), and 1999 9-5 B308e (frost grey). Both 4-speed autos.

Done a bunch of work on the V6, new head gaskets and timing and stuff. The Linear will be getting an aero turbo swap hopefully this year. And hopefully I can figure out the oil leaks from both of them. Always dripping, albeit slowly.

Here is my '01 Aero manual transmission. It's my second 9-5, the first was another 01 but automatic..hated that transmission so I sold it and found a good manual one, only one owner and 132.000kms in a good shape. Now it's around 150k, stock engine and I'm trying to make the new '03 heated seats working, but I'm still on it.

Next week will have a stage1 ECU and I hope this "new" seats working properly. The body grip difference is huge with them. I only noticed that the 01 original seats are like a couple of inches lower than the 02 and onwards ones.

9-5 is a SAAB. Not for everyone. That's a good thing. Well made...
Everyone definitely loves the style. I bet if they bought back this body shape with a few modern elements added it would really stand out amongst the rounded off cookie cutter cars out there.
