While working on some exhaust hangers, and installing the new trans mount inserts I looked into the source of my leaks a bit further.

Below are some pictures of what I found. Something is leaking onto what I think is the input shaft? (goes into the trans http://i.imgur.com/eoejL.jpg left side) And it's slinging oil everywhere. It doesn't look too horrible as far as volume, but it's still something I'd like to fix.

There's also some sort of sensor on the passenger side of the engine that looks like it might also be the source of some oil leak as well. The nut on it is absolutely mangled, so I'm wondering if someone tried to tighten it at some point... not sure though.

^ Also a bit of gasket bubbled out, is that an issue?

Any ideas?
Oil slung all the way back here!

Also, I have a few holes in the flex-pipe coming off of the downpipe. Is this possible to replace, or do I need to purchase the whole downpipe?

You going to have to degrease and go from there. If you travel any highway the oil spatters everywhere and you won't know until it's been cleaned. You probably have one or two small leaks.

I would degrease everything and go from there. But typically if the oil pressure sensor goes bad it starts to leak where your first picture shoes as its above the starter at the back of the engine. might be worth a look and see.

as far as the other one, not sure what that is or for so cant comment on it.
But the exhaust, you can weld in a new flex pip or just replaces the standard one. whichever you prefer.
