I have a 96' 9000 Aero. Anyone know how to keep the stock CD changer and change the head-unit? I want an MP3 player instead of the standard tape-deck but I want to avoid cutting out the CD Changer so I can still use that if I want to. If not - I will forget about the CD changer and take a new MP3 player instead.

i dont think u can, but an MP3 CD can hold the same amount of songs as a CD changer full of music anyways ;)

I had a CD changer in the trunk. When the main CD player went bad, I replaced the Radio,CD and CD changer with a Clarion Radio/MP3 unit, also throwing out the under-seat Saab amplifier. Not a single regret.
