I have another post where the car would be running fine then hesitate or sputter.

It even stalled at a couple of stop signs.

Tonight I went to Autozone to check for codes and it wouldn't start. I waited 15 minutes and it fired right up. Like an idiot, I shut it off and had to wait another 10 minutes.

I drove home and tried again, still wouldn't start.

Sound like the CPS?

I am headed out to the garage to see if I can find it.
Eeurosports has it for around $70 and Autozone for $99. Anywhere cheaper?

I ordered a cps off of Ebay. It was pretty cheap compared to the local prices. If that doesnt fix it, i need to start DIC shopping.

When it wasnt working i tried to check with a meter. It appeared to be an open circuit. I tested again when it was workjng and i could measure resistance.

Hopefully thats enough to prove it the CPS.

Never thought to check the tach.

Mine would turn over and not start, like it was out of fuel.

tach usually starts to bounce at 5-10 sec of cranking.

I went to install the CPS I ordered off of ebay . I opened the package to find a set of swaybar bushing. Part numbers are not even close. Not even sure what they are for.

So, instad of paying $25 I am on the phone with autozone ordering the part for $99. There are a ton of other places I could order from but needed the car for next week.
