Alright, I just finished getting the cooling system back together and porting the tbtc, and when I started it up, it would idle solid for about 30 seconds and then the RPMs would drop off pretty quick, sounding like it was going to stall, but then it would recover and hold steady for about another 30 seconds and then repeat. I have only had the car for 2 months but in that time it has always idled fine.

I'm not sure where to start: O2 sensor, idle air control valve, intake temp. sensor, etc.? I disconnected the battery while working on it, could it be some kind of adaptation problem? Ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the electrical connector at the TPS (throttle position sensor) too. If there isn't a solid connection, the engine rpm can go up and down ("hunt") at idle.

i'll check all the connections in that area. i just replaced all the vacuum hoses so im pretty sure they aren't to blame, but maybe something came loose.
