1990 900 S Turbo Convertible - I have a very annoying problem where occasionally my car won't crank when turning the key , it may start perfectly for days then out of the blue it is dead ,I can leave it for 30 minutes try again and it starts perfectly . The problem normally arises when the motor is hot, ie I may call into a shop come out and it won't crank . The battery is new and all warning lights etc are illuminated. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Bruce

Check all the electrical cabels like the ground cabels and the one that goes to the starter and make sure they are not corroded and green looking. If its not the cabels it could be a sticking solenoid which you could just clean out.
