The service schedules are at 18k interval, but i'm sure to keep your warranty intact you have to have an annual service aswell (dont want them dealerships to lose out now:roll

You can if you wish go to an independant Saab garage and save yourself a few quid, but unless your talking £100 off i'd stick with the main dealer, especially on a 'new' model car.
