Anybody knows of any independent SAAB shops that have Tech 2 in Chicago area?

Just wondering with all the dealers in the area. Are you out of warranty?

One of the performance tuners for SAAB is somewhere in the Chicagoland area, Engstrom I believe. Maybe they have Tech II.

as I've read somewhere before, the Tech II is more than just a handheld device. There are software/computer updates that must be downloaded directly from Saab on a regular basis and something about entering the VIN ??? I think this is a fairly pricey subscription to keep up so may not be able to find anywhere but a dealer. Just my .02
